Manual measurements · 1–4 week forecast

Field measurements turn into a sugar content forecast

The executor enters a measurement into a cell from the phone; the agronomist sees the table, a chart for every cell and crop and a forecast one to four weeks ahead with two models.

MEASUREMENTS

Every measurement is linked to a cell and crop

That is why the chart is built not “for the plot in general” but for a specific row and variety.

Chart with a forecast

A line for every cell and crop; the forecast continues the last actual measurement without a gap. Filters: cells, crop, measurement type.

Two forecasting methods

“Linear approximation” is a trend by date. The “Temperature model” takes the weather forecast into account (experimental).

Measurement without a task

In the plot card in “Grid” mode, tap a cell and enter the value, date and comment.

“Measurements” section

A table of all measurements across all plots, filters, a card with a point on the map and value editing.

If the cell is not from the task

The system will warn you but keep the measurement — it will still go into the table and the chart.

Three screens — one chart

The “Measurements” section for all plots, the “Measurements” tab in the plot card and the task card show the same chart with a forecast — the agronomist and the executor look at the same numbers.

Measurement type

Currently — sugar content (mg/l). The type is set when the task is created; the list is growing.

“MEASUREMENTS” SECTION

All farm measurements — in one table

Filters by plot, cell, crop and measurement type. From a row to the measurement card with a point on the map; any value can be corrected.

HOW IT WORKS

From a field measurement to a forecast

1

Take a measurement

The executor selects a cell on the map and enters the value, date and comment.

2

Linking

The measurement is linked to the task, cell and crop automatically.
3

Chart

The agronomist sees a line for every cell and can correct any measurement.
4

Forecast

Choose a horizon of 1–4 weeks and a model — linear or temperature.

Which measurement types are supported?

–

Currently one — sugar content in mg/l. The measurement type is set when the task is created; the list will grow at farms’ requests.
